We are thrilled to announce the launch of our brand-new product line, the Sonrisa Collection! This vibrant and versatile collection features pedestal bowls—also known as compotes—that are perfect for adding a pop of color and style to your home or office. The Sonrisa Collection comes in three sizes: small, medium, and large, so no matter what you’re planning to display, we’ve got you covered. Want a cute fruit bowl for your kitchen countertop? The small bowl is perfect for that. Need a centerpiece for your dining table? The large one will certainly make a statement. One bowl is perfect for a minimalist vibe, a set of three give maximalism splendor. These bowls can be filled with anything from fruit to flowers—or simply admired for their beauty on their own.
Colors That Make You Smile
Let’s talk colors—because we all know that’s where the fun is! The Sonrisa Collection is available in five bold hues:
- Chocolate Brown: Earthy, warm, and timeless. Also surprisingly VERY trending right now, we're here for it.
- Light Blue Teal: A soothing, modern twist on a soft blue. We're feeling coastal vibes with this color.
- Yellow: Bright, cheerful, and sure to bring a ray of sunshine into any space. This set will be popular since we know yellow hues are here to stay.
- Deep Orange: Bold, rich, and full of energy. Mid century modern lovers- this hue is an absolute slam dunk.
- Cobalt Blue: A deep, striking shade that commands attention. Inspired by Spanish and Greek Mediterranean aesthetics that we all want to vacation in.
The Meaning Behind "Sonrisa"
In case you didn’t know, “Sonrisa” means “smile” in Spanish, and it’s a perfect fit for our collection. The name reflects not only the vibrant and happy aesthetic and shape of the bowls but also the positive energy we strive to bring to everything we do as a brand. Our lead founder Ash Freeze, who is proudly Latina and of Mexican heritage, felt it was fun to incorporate a bit of her cultural roots into this product line. Just like a smile can brighten someone’s day, we hope the Sonrisa Collection will add a bit of personality and warmth to your space. It’s all about creating moments of happiness, whether you’re hosting friends or simply enjoying a peaceful afternoon at home.
Food-Grade and Functional
The Sonrisa bowls are all food-grade, making them perfect for serving up your favorite fruits, snacks, salads, or whatever you like to use your bowls for. With their pedestal design, they bring a touch of boldness to any gathering. And while they’re perfect for entertaining, they’re also a chic way to store your everyday items—whether it’s displaying lemons in the kitchen or organizing trinkets in your living room. Just remember, these beauties are hand wash only, so treat them with the care they deserve! We also can NOT warranty our bowls if you decide to try it out on the top rack of your dishwasher and that top rack breaks. Hopefully that's not a surprise to anyone- warranties are not typical for tableware decorative products. These bowls are really solid and heavy enough to not tip easily.
